I have a list of equipment I plan on getting when a home base for training, an Legacy Health & Fitness, LLC. facility, is established. For the most part, it’s all a couple of brands of equipment I’ve used and loved in other facilities. It’s equipment meant to be used by many people daily.
Equipment at home and what I take with me to train others is a whole other story. It’s got to be dependable. The price reflects that it’s good quality but is still practical for someone buying equipment for the home that won’t be used by dozens of people every day.
CAP is the brand I have and love for my weights that I use at home and take with me to the park and clients’ homes.
My first CAP purchase was this 35# Kettlebell. I’ve had it for several years, and 2 years ago my parents gave me a second one for a matching pair!
I wanted a pair of dumbbells to have at home and to have clients use. I looked at a lot of them and kept coming back to CAP – especially since they’re sold in pairs, not individually! I bought this pair of 15#.
The fun thing is, I didn’t even realize that the weighted vest I just got (for me, as of right now, clients won’t be wearing this!) is a CAP product until after I got it! The reviews were positive, the material and reported quality were reported worth the cost which was still affordable.
